Boyett Health Services has launched Statistical Management, a medical billing and consulting service! Lisa Colburn, our manager, is a Certified Professional Coder with 8 years of billing experience. Under her leadership is a staff with years of billing experience, and within the next few months all of our billing staff will be Certified Professional Coders. We strive to stay up to date on all the latest CPT changes and the different insurance policy changes. Our billing manager has been through intense training in filing claims, coding procedurals, and working with the different insurance companies to get a rapid reimbursement. Our allowable insurance collections for Boyett Health Services are always greater than 95%. This is a remarkable number and we have great confidence that our staff will continue this rate of collections for our medical clinic and we would like to offer this service to your medical clinic.
We realize here at Statistical Management that many physicians do not have time to fight with insurance companies or stay up on the many CPT and ICD-9/10 changes. The physician’s time should be spent face to face with their patients and not worrying about payment for their hard work. So, along with our billing services, we will offer 2 coding seminars. The seminar dates will correspond with the Medicare code changes, which occur 2 times a year.

- Credentialing – Medical Credentialing is the process of becoming affiliated with insurance companies so that you (the medical provider) can accept third party reimbursement. Medical credentialing is a very thorough, time-consuming procedure. The length of the process depends on the applicant and the state laws. Physicians take a much longer time to investigate because licensures, completion of residency programs, authentication of services, and other qualifications must be confirmed. Physician credentialing may also involve investigating any liability claims, references, association memberships, and status with the Department of Health and Human Services.
