 Family Medicine

We provide continuing and comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive services to each member of the family regardless of sex, age or type of problem, be it biological, behavioral, or social. It is our greatest honor to serve our community in offering the latest advances in medical treatment.

Laboratory Testing

Our in house lab provides you the opportunity to have a variety of tests completed right here in our clinic. We are proud to offer a comprehensive extended panel test that gives us  a great picture of your overall health. This test covers the good, bad, and total cholesterol levels, as well as inflammatory markers, cardiac stress levels, insulin, vitamin D, Omega 3’s, and kidney risk numbers.  Your final lab results are applied to your chart and are posted to our patient portal for your easy viewing. If you don’t have a patient portal account, ask for one today!

Digital X-rays

Our office is one of the few in our area that has digital radiography, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic film. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Also less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography.

Echocardiography uses standard two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and Doppler ultrasound to create images of the heart. Echocardiography has become routinely used in the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with any suspected or known heart diseases. It is one of the most widely used diagnostic tests in cardiology. It can provide a wealth of helpful information, including the size and shape of the heart (internal chamber size quantification), pumping capacity, and the location and extent of any tissue damage.

Vascular Studies

Vascular ultrasound is performed to:

  • help monitor the blood flow to organs and tissues throughout the body.
  • locate and identify blockages and abnormalities like plaque or emboli and help plan for their effective treatment.
  • detect blood clots (deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in the major veins of the legs or arms.
  • determine if there is an enlarged artery (aneurysm).
  • determine the source and severity of varicose veins.

Minor Surgery

Minor surgeries are not typically done on the first visit, but are closely examined and are performed on a return visit to ensure the proper amount of time is allotted to address the case appropriately. Our minor surgery services include:

  • Toe Nail Removal
  • Wart Removal
  • Cyst incision and drainage
  • Mole Excision
  • Biopsies

Addiction Treatment

Addiction treatment available at Boyett Health Services! We work with our patients to help them gain control of their lives again through in office counsel and medication. We also encourage weekly group therapy through the local Celebrate Recovery meetings held at The Ramp Church. Addiction to pain pills has a devastating effect on the addict, the family, and even the community. It is our goal to help you or your loved one to defeat the dependence by following  tried and true methods of treatment  (TIP 40). Opioid dependence is a chronic relapsing medical condition that requires long-term treatment and patient support. Our Addiction Coordinator is available as an additional source of support and accountability. To schedule an appointment or for more information visit our Addiction program page.

Orthovisc Injections

Arthritis, typically with onset during middle or old age,  is characterized by degenerative (gradual deterioration of joint) and sometimes abnormal growth in the bone and cartilage of one or more joints.  This often includes a progressive wearing down of opposing joint surfaces with consequent distortion of joint position and is marked symptomatically especially by pain, swelling, and stiffness. Orthovisc injections are effective to help relieve knee pain and provides up to six months of relief. The injections replace natural joint fluid to cushion, protect and lubricate your knee, while helping to restore mobility by treating knee pain at its source. All patients will require an initial visit to determine if Orthovisc is right for you. Call us for more information or visit

Patient Education Materials

Our patient education materials include blood pressure log sheets, helpful diet information and more. If there is a health topic you’d like to see covered in this section, email us! We love equipping our patients by putting helpful tools in their hands that relate to their specific needs.

Medical Billing Services

We realize here at Boyett Health Services that many physicians do not have time to fight with insurance companies or stay up on the many CPT and ICD-9/10 changes.  The physician’s time should be spent face to face with their patients and not worrying about payment for their hard work. Our billing manager has been through intense training in filing claims, coding procedurals, and working with the different insurance companies to get a rapid reimbursement.  Our allowable insurance collections for Boyett Health Services are always greater than 95%.  This is a remarkable number and we have great confidence that our staff will continue this rate of collections for our medical clinic and we would like to offer this service to your medical clinic. More info on our Medical Billing page.

While we do accept most insurance plans there are some that we no longer accept. Please call our office to see if we are a provider for your plan.
